What exactly is a Pop?

A Pop is a gathering on BlinkPop: a place, a time and people. Someone starts one and others join. When it ends, the chat stays open and you keep the people you met.

How do I join one?

Your host shares a QR code or a link. Open it, install BlinkPop and sign in if you’re new, then join the Pop to see the people, start a conversation and find the place. Some hosts approve join requests first.

Is BlinkPop an event app?

No. Other tools manage listings, tickets and calendars. BlinkPop is the social network for real life: your profile is built from what you join and where you show up, not from what you post.

Does BlinkPop show people where I am?

BlinkPop shows where a gathering is. It never tracks or shows your live position to other people. Checking in is your choice. It records the place or Pop and the time, and the record stays. Your visibility setting controls whether others see you in check-in lists and on the map. Everyone signs in with an account, and you can block or report people.

I run something regular. Is it for me?

Yes. A run club, a badminton night, a founders’ dinner, a reading group: one QR gives your guests the people list, live chat, directions, and a way to reconnect. Your next one starts with an audience, not from zero.

How do I get the app?

On iPhone, the beta is open on TestFlight and needs the free TestFlight app. On Android, join the testers group first, then join the beta on Google Play. The App Store and Google Play releases are next: get early access and we’ll email you when yours opens.

Where is it launching first?

Kuala Lumpur and Selangor first, around the cafes, campuses, and parks where people already gather. Your city is next once the first one feels truly alive.

What does it cost?

Nothing. BlinkPop is free to download and free to use. It is for adults aged 18 and over.
